After the chaos strips away who you thought you should be, what remains is not empty but the heart : cracked and whole, held together by the very light that broke it open.
This is the heart made sacred not because it was spared, but because it was not. Where the break runs deepest is exactly where the light finds its way through — every ember scattered below is proof something was set alight, not destroyed.
