Hi, I’m Melissa

I’m a professional musician, certified coach, yoga & meditation educator, trauma-informed family constellations facilitator, and creator of Intuitive Music Programming™.

Music has been my work for most of my life.

Through my own experiences with addiction, grief, and healing, I began to understand it not just as expression, but as a way the body finds steadiness when the mind is overloaded.

Music helped me regulate when thinking wasn’t enough, and over time, I saw the same pattern in the people I worked with.

This is supported by research. Studies in neuroscience and psychophysiology show that rhythm and familiar sound patterns can regulate the autonomic nervous system, influencing heart rate, breathing, and stress responses, and supporting a shift out of chronic fight-or-flight.

Intuitive Music Programming™ brings this evidence together with lived experience, using sound, pacing, and structure to support regulation, clarity, stress reduction and burnout prevention and sustainable energy in real life.

Today, I bring this work into spaces where people are capable, responsible, and quietly under pressure.

Not to motivate or fix, but to help the nervous system settle enough for clear thinking, intuition, and meaningful change to emerge.

That’s the foundation of The Science of Calm.
